My Friday Favorites: Mixed metal lighting

Mixed metal lighting is a stylish way to add depth and character to any kitchen or living space. By combining warm and cool tones, these fixtures create a balanced, layered look that feels intentional and sophisticated. Whether you prefer subtle contrast or bold combinations, the right lighting can elevate your design.

Compilation of my five favorite mixed metal pendant light fixtures, by C. DePina Kitchens in Worcester, MA

Ok #5 might not be actual mixed metals, BUT….Hear me out… this finish is made with reactive glazes - so, is it gold? or is it silver? I think it 100% depends on what’s around it, giving a naturally stunning multi-metal look.

  1. Burnbay Pendant - sleek and sculptural, using one of my favorite combinations of mixed metals: black and gold.

  2. Ren Pendant - this fixture has a transitional vibe, in a classic silhouette.

  3. Calix Tall Pendant - long and lean - this beauty would be stunning grouped in a double foyer; or in 3’s at a kitchen island.

  4. Pacific Pendant - classic silhouette is a fresh finish combo.

  5. Pathos Multi-Drop Pendant - one of my all-time-favorites, the reactive glaze can take on many different finishes.
